I booked a hotel thru Priceline and I don't know why the reservation was showing my first and middle name initials and my last name. They helped me with the Hilton to correct my first name with no problems. This wasn't a big deal because my initials actually are correct but my first name, middle initial, and last name show on the card and I wanted to avoid any issues at the front desk. Thank you Eric for helping me, employee #** you helped me with this one!

I typically book directly with a preferred company, but it was Thanksgiving weekend and prices were out of control. I checked Priceline and decided to give it a try. I used Priceline to book a car rental with National and found a great deal that was half the price I found with National directly. I had zero issues. After paying through Priceline and reading the fine print about No Changes/No Cancels/No Refunds, I checked my booking on the National site and all my info was there. When I arrived at my destination, check-in was fine. After returning the car a few days later, I got a receipt from National and an email from Priceline. All good! I would use Priceline again.

I know my Title sounds like a Spammy McTrollbot, but Priceline is actually really fast and easy to use. I promise you i'm not a robot. It is the go to app I use for my Touring business and helping my business when I'm short on cars. It's easy to differentiate from different companies and offers. So I'm sending nice totally not robotic review here honestly in hopes that I stop receiving the email surveys about how great the experience was. It was great all times. A few times I had to wait for cars for an hour or more, but that was the car company's and that's not Priceline's fault. They are just the messenger. I even checked I'm not a robot at the bottom of the submission page. Blake

I allowed Priceline to book a room for me to get a discount. I gave them my preferences, and told them what I was looking for and the area. They booked a room 15 miles from my preferred area, I didn't get a discount. I never finished with the booking, but they booked it without my knowledge. I didn't know the room had been booked, so I booked one myself. I didn't know until I looked at my bank account. I asked for oceanfront and was placed across the street from the ocean. We were on a motorcycle and the resort didn't allow motorcycles. We were gonna have to pay another 100.00 for oceanfront which is what I asked for. This was a very costly, and miserable trip, and it was all because of Priceline. They refuse to refund my money as well! BEWARE OF PRICELINE!!!!

I booked with Priceline website for a trip to Maui Eldorado Kaanapali By Outrigger 11/12/22 - 11/20/22. Due to family emergency, I needed to cancel it. I got full refund for air ticket but I got charged 2 nights fees by hotel. As soon as I noticed that, I called priceline customer service about refund. I had to talk with 4-5 representatives. I knew that my problem was not easy to solve so I got transferred to senior customer representatives 2 times. I thought that I might not get back my full refund but luckily I got full refund back due to Priceline customer service. I really appreciate senior staffs who helped me. For future, I will book all my trips with priceline only.

If you're traveling with your pet, do not use this service. There's no way to tell whether a hotel accepts pets or not. I made a reservation, I went to check in and I was denied when I asked about the pet fee. The hotel said it wasn't their problem and Priceline said it wasn't their problem. I was simply out my $93.

I recently made a reservation through Priceline for a 5 night stay (5/23/27 - 2023) in North Carolina. Instead of calling the hotel directly, I went through Priceline. I thought Priceline has the best price, but I found out I could have saved $293.00 if I would have made my reservation with the hotel. Priceline is a total RIP OFF and I will never use this cheating, dishonest and unremorseful company again.

Do not use this merchant or Affirm for your payment plan. They offer discount and normal fare prices, ask for payment and then tell you the fare class has sold out. It will apparently take up to 90 days to receive a refund.

After staying at a hotel reserved through Priceline, I discovered when I got the hotel receipt that the actual cost, including tax, was less than what I paid for on Priceline. I called Priceline to get the difference between the actual cost of staying at the hotel (which was less, including all taxes) versus what I paid on Priceline. Priceline refuses to give the difference. Priceline is NOT the lowest price. In the future I will only deal directly with hotels. It is worth setting up a rewards program with hotels, even if one is not able to take advantage of all of the perks. At least I will know I will be getting the lowest price. Priceline is NOT the money saver it purports to be.

Had to change a flight due to family emergency and work. Called Priceline's customer "Care" 84 hours prior to date of travel. The individual I spoke with asked for a reason to which I simply said work and did not elaborate not knowing if it was necessary or not. They said that it's a restricted flight and there is nothing they can do. He did not give an explanation nor did he try to show compassion or sympathy considering my situation. I will NOT ever use Priceline for anything moving forward based on the LACK of Customer Care.

FAQs
Is it safe to book through Priceline? ›
Can I trust Priceline? The short answer is: Yes, you can. Priceline launched in 1998 with the ability to book otherwise empty airline seats. Since then, it's grown to include hotels, rental cars and cruises, and the website hosts millions of visitors each month.
Are Priceline trips refundable? ›When you cancel a pre-paid trip, you'll receive an email with refund details. If you were charged a deposit or cancellation fee, that will be subtracted from your refund amount. The refund will be processed back to your original form of payment. Priceline may take up to 24 hours to submit your refund.
Does Priceline charge a fee? ›Priceline Processing Fees: A non-refundable per ticket processing fee may apply to airline reservations. The fee amount varies and will be displayed on your Contract page.
How is Priceline different from Expedia? ›Priceline protects the hotel by not directly marketing the low rate. Plus, in competition with the Expedia Rewards program, Priceline offers the Priceline VIP experience. The loyalty program offers even more discounted rates, loyalty perks, and more.
